Chicago Volunteers Doulas
"Having Lu as a training facilitator has been one of the best decisions we've made as an agency. She does a fantastic job of finding common ground with participants, challenging us to expand our point of view, and put new ways of thinking into action. We are better able to accomplish our mission because of her trainings."
Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence
The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence welcomed Lu Rocha as their facilitator for their Leadership Academy. Lu spoke to participants about privilege, power dynamics, and trauma-informed leadership. Participants left with the knowledge of how to be more mindful of cultural issues that impact the survivors they work with.
"This was the most well presented and engaging training I've had this year. Presenter was knowledgeable, confident, open and passionate."
